Choose Your Hard

I have seen countless people join network marketing only to quit because it was “too hard.”

I get it. Network marketing is simple, but it isn’t easy. I mean, the concepts for success are straightforward, but it still requires hard work. And after all, everything worth having in this world does. For example, motherhood is one of the hardest things we can do. But it is also one of the greatest things in life.

I think we need to choose our hard.

What do I mean by that?

Yes, network marketing is hard. You have to be consistent;. You have to step out of your comfort zone. You have to get used to rejection. You have to risk judgment from others. But what is the alternative?

I, for one, don’t want to go back to a 40-hour work week, hoping for a 2% raise once a year if I’m lucky.. I don’t want to spend time away from my family building someone else’s dreams, knowing they could eliminate my job at any time. I don’t want to miss one moment or milestone with my children! To me that is FAR harder than anything network marketing requires of me.

If you want to work in a profession such as teaching, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare, to name a few examples, you have to get a degree. You have to pay a ton of money to go to school for four years before you can make one dollar working in that position. So why do people think they will make six figures in network marketing instantaneously?

Giving up too soon is the biggest mistake I see network marketers make.

People get comfortably uncomfortable.  Meaning that they may not love their job. They may want to be home with their kids and desire change, but making a change is way more uncomfortable than just suffering where they are. Yes, change is hard. Owning a business and network marketing is hard, too. But not taking a chance, sticking to the status quo and never following your heart is way harder!

Take a risk.

But remember that change is simply choosing your hard.

Work lies ahead no matter what path you take.
