Teriyaki Tofu

This teriyaki Tofu is so good that my kids even love it!

But you can use this sauce on anything so you can easily adopt this and make Teriyaki Chicken for dinner too!

Ingredients:

28 ounces Extra Firm Tofu

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp stevia

1 Tbsp maple syrup

3 Tbsp rice wine vinegar

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1-2 cloves crushed garlic

1/4 tsp ginger

1 Tbsp corn starch

Direction:

Pat tofu with paper towel to remove as much excess liquid as possible. Cut tofu into small cubes and pat dry again (you want to remove as much excess water as possible)

Place cut up tofu on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until desired firmness. (about 25 minutes)

In a saucepan combine remaining ingredients.

Cook on medium heat while continually stirring, until sauce becomes thick.

Add tofu and stir well.

Server with broccoli and a grain for a healthy, balanced meal.

Makes 6 servings.
